The price was very reasonable, and the facilities were good, which made it easy to overlook that the newly opened lodge still needs some work to cover its former care-home feel. Our room was clean, and Mark, the host, was great. I was charged twice, once in cash when I arrived and again from my account. I only spotted it several days later, but they did refund me.

The prices really are competitive, and the owner was a lovely lady who kindly drove me to the nearest ATM after I found out the hard way that it was cash only. The communal facilities suited me fine. Wi-Fi in the room costs extra, though it's free downstairs in the relaxation room.

It's a quiet spot away from the city, with a lovely setting, a double bed, and nice people. For one of Belfast's cheapest lodges, I thought it was good value. The large standard kitchen is stocked with food, so you can make what you want, and there's free parking, which is handy if you've rented a car. Internet is free in the guest room, but costs £2 in a private room. I don't think that charge is a great idea, though the price overall is still fair. Belfast View Guest is worth the money.

After our Grandad passed away, I stayed here with my Niece and sister. The staff were lovely, our room was spacious, and the price was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend it.

The room did what we needed, and check-out was smooth. Parking was a struggle, and the place wasn't the cleanest, though the area seemed safe. You get what you pay for.
