The bathroom is separated by what’s basically a glass panel, so I’d feel awkward sharing the room with other people because there isn’t much privacy. I’d seen that in the website photos beforehand. The room itself was quiet and clean, the bed was very comfy, the shower had great pressure, and the staff were really friendly. For the price and location, it was perfect for me. It’s basic, so don’t expect much space or furniture, but I’d recommend it for a short stay.

I was travelling alone for work with just a small suitcase, and the compact room suited me well. I mostly needed it for sleeping and watching TV, so I didn’t miss having a chair. I also tend to keep my room clean, so waiting until the third day for service was fine. I usually eat breakfast elsewhere, and didn’t mind there being no breakfast included or kettle. Couples might want a larger room. The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel felt clean, safe and modern. Check-in was easy, the front desk staff were helpful, and I’d gladly stay again. The location is right in central Belfast, near buses, Gliders, which are faster buses like a tram, and Belfast Grand Central. Some online comments say you can see the shower from the bed, but that wasn’t true for me: the bathroom has a frosted sliding glass door, and from the bed you can’t see in. My only real issue was the squeaky ceilings, which made a lot of noise when guests upstairs walked along the corridors. I brought earplugs, and the front desk has them too, but I could still hear the noise a bit at night. It was annoying enough to lose a star, though not a deal breaker. A good budget option if you want somewhere comfortable to sleep after work or sightseeing.

The rooms are very small, but have what you need for a short visit if you plan to spend most of your time out. It’s a short walk from the train station and close to everything you might want to see in Belfast. They charge £5 to store luggage after the 10 am checkout, which seems unnecessary, though I suppose that’s how they make money. Otherwise, decent value.

We stayed two nights and had a lovely time. The room was a good size for two, the staff were absolutely lovely, and everything was close to the city centre, just a five-minute walk. I’d read some negative reviews, but they didn’t match our experience. Really good location, and I’d say this place is a must.
