The Quarter by Warren Collection

Abdull was fantastic and sorted everything for us, from parking to arranging a pet-friendly room. Five stars for going above and beyond. The rest of the team were great too, and I love the hotel’s modern layout. My dog otis wanted to say hi to you all, so here he is 😇⬇️

Most of our stay was lovely, but I wanted to mention a few problems. I’ve spoken with the hotel, and they offered us a free night at any location. The bedroom itself was lovely, but the bathroom smell was unbearable. It came up from the shower drain, sink, and toilet, especially after flushing, and smelled like a Portaloo at a festival. I tried to cover it with body spray. The shower also drained so poorly that we had to keep stopping it. I paid an extra £45 for the celebration package for my daughter. It included two cans of cola, one box of chocolates, one balloon, one banner, and one card. The card was signed from the hotel, which took away some of the magic for her; it should just have said happy birthday, not from the Warren collection. For the cost, what we got was a Bismil, and definitely not money well spent. I’ve stayed at other hotels that offer the same service at much better quality. The continental breakfast needs work too. Around 08:45 we went to both kitchens mentioned at check-in, but there was almost nothing except cereal. When we came back with a very hungry child, one kitchen was being restocked with Tesco value items. The cold meats were the cheapest Tesco option and not pleasant. The second morning was better because we went down after 9am, but the meat quality was still a problem.

The bed was decent, and the staff were great. There are vending machines for late-night snacks too. This is somewhere to book if price and location matter most. I wouldn't bring a new girlfriend here to impress her, unless she thinks anything better than a tent is a win.

The shared kitchen is a brilliant perk, and everything you need for a city break is within a short walk. The rooms are basic, but warm and comfortable. Good value for money, and I'd stay again.
