The hosts were so welcoming and made our couple of nights really enjoyable. We could choose our breakfast time, and the food was delicious with plenty to eat. Our room was spotless, spacious, and had a gorgeous view. We’d happily stay again. Highly recommended, and very reasonably priced!

It’s a peaceful spot among sheep fields, with hospitable hosts and friendly dogs. Breakfast was lovely, and we had a nice chat about life on the farm. The accommodation is simple, but very clean, and had everything we needed overnight: drinks and snacks, toiletries, a warm shower, and plenty of soft towels. The town is two miles away along a quiet country road. I’d like to stay longer next time and walk around the farm or into town.
I’ve stayed here many times and keep coming back for the quiet, tucked-away farmhouse. It’s perfect for me and brilliant for my dogs. You can hear and see curlews, larks, sheep, lambs, and hens, and it’s right beside the River Tyne. I only wish I’d brought my swimsuit. Isabelle and David are perfect hosts.
We spent a week sharing Isobel and David’s home and felt very welcome. The farm is lovely and quiet, down a track away from the road, and well placed for seeing local sights. Breakfasts were lovely, the place was very clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. I’d definitely recommend it.
Isabelle was such a kind host, relaxed and accommodating, happy to share local knowledge and genuinely interested in us. She was especially thoughtful with my fiancée, and we can’t thank her enough. I’d gladly stay again and recommend this B&B to couples, solo travelers, or small groups. The farm is peaceful and idyllic, with animal neighbours to hear each day. I enjoyed an evening walk through the woods beside the field, and guests can easily reach the river. Since it’s remote, plan ahead for lunch and dinner. Breakfast, made with local produce, was superb, and Isabelle made special arrangements for guests leaving for work at 5am. Our cosy room looked out onto the garden, and had all the essentials, including a portable heater for colder nights, though the central heating was on too.
