The view from our van's grass pitch was lovely, and the area is really picturesque. We ate and had drinks in the bar. The menu is limited, but the food was good and the atmosphere friendly. Clean facilities too. The site was under new management as of October 2025.

Peter and Michelle gave us a very warm welcome, and there were some fine beers to choose from. We stopped in for both breakfast and dinner while staying nearby, and the food was tasty and great value. We didn’t stay at the campsite, but it looks well kept and we’d be happy to camp here. Dogs are very welcome and get plenty of fuss. Great food and a lovely welcome, we hope to see you again soon. The site is under new ownership.

We had a grass pitch with a really nice view, and the staff were super friendly. The toilets and showers are in great condition. There’s a restaurant and a bar, and both are actually open, which isn’t always the case at campsites that advertise a pub.

The cottage was clean and a great size, with plenty of parking, in an awesome location with views to die for. Only downside was no microwave. I’d recommend staying here.

Quiet site, and really dark at night, just right for our two-night stay. The campsite was clean, including the showers, toilets and washing-up facilities. The staff care about their customers. I’ll be going again.
