Broomhouse Farmhouse

We felt welcome straight away, and the hospitality was brilliant. Our room was lovely and immaculate, with a modern en-suite shower room, plenty of mirrors and plug sockets, and a good selection of quality hot drinks. The beds were extremely comfortable, with lovely bedding. Breakfast was excellent: we chose what we wanted the night before, and were served promptly when we arrived. It set us up well for the day. The grounds are a joy, with striking views and plenty to do nearby, and our hosts were generous with their local knowledge. We'd gladly book again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We spent Easter at this beautiful farmhouse, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and all the wildlife. It was easy to find, with parking on site, and the grounds were stunning. The hosts were great, and Jimmy helped make our stay especially lovely. The room price included a nice full English breakfast. It's a great base for visiting Holy Island, and there are plenty of castles nearby. We'd recommend a weekend here and a trip to the beaches at Bamburg.

The large rooms in this beautiful old manor house have separate bathrooms. Mandy is a lovely hostess and serves a very good breakfast with lots of options. With only three rooms, breakfast never felt crowded. A warm, friendly place to stay.

After a hectic visit from Australia, we spent three lovely days relaxing here. The house is magnificent, and the rooms are quiet and restful while still being very well equipped. The elegant bathrooms had everything we needed, including lovely local products for a bit of pampering. Mandy and Bob were delightful hosts, happy to share suggestions and ideas. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each day, which set us up well. We come to visit family from Australia every three years or so, and will definitely book some time out at Broomhouse Farmhouse again.
