Bod Gwynedd Bed and Breakfast

My partner and I felt safe, comfortable and well cared for during our three days here. The biggest compliment I can give Jackie and her B&B is that it felt like staying at a family member's house and using their spare room. We were that relaxed. The reviews are right about the location, room and breakfast. If you're planning a visit to Betws-y-coed, which you absolutely should, you'll be in good hands with Jackie at Bod Gwynedd.

The hosts were so friendly and knew the area well. They even arranged an early check-in for us, which we really appreciated. A lovely finish to the stay was getting hot Welsh cakes on our way home. We had a great stay in a perfect location. The room was spotless, the beds really comfy and breakfast was lovely every morning. Would definitely recommend!

Jackie and Gary were wonderful hosts, and we had a fantastic stay at Bod Gwynedd B&B. The cooked breakfast was lovely every morning, and they even gave us a little goodbye gift. Jackie gave us helpful hiking advice for Snowdonia. You can reserve parking at Pen-y-Pass online, or take the bus, which stops almost outside the B&B. It goes from the same side as the B&B, and Jackie can tell you the departure times. A return ticket costs an extra £1. We took the Pyg Track up Mount Snowdon and came back down via the Miner's Track. It was a steep climb, but the weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. There are more trails, and Jackie and Gary can give you great advice. We got another nice tip from Jackie. Go behind the station onto the platform, turn right and cross the footbridge. Keep walking and you'll come to an old little church that's well worth seeing. The large church in the village is also worth a visit. We had a wonderful stay and felt very welcome. The room was lovely, with tea and coffee facilities, a bottle of water and a nice bathroom. The village is charming, and this B&B is fantastic. In the evenings it's an easy walk into the village along a sidewalk, where there are plenty of restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room was beautifully decorated with glass art and artwork Jackie made. It was lovely to meet Jackie and Gary, thank you!
