Cottage 3 at Hendre Rhys Gethin

The lodge had superb views and was only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Betwys. It was absolutely spotless, too. We had a brilliant stay at Hendre Rhys Gethin, and the welcome made it clear from the start that this place was going to be class. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

Our lodge was incredibly clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything feeling high quality. We especially loved the hot tub. The site is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views, and the hosts were friendly, helpful and around whenever we needed them. We had a wonderful week and even got good Welsh weather, so we were out and about every day. We'll definitely return and have no hesitation recommending it. Enjoy!

The hot tub was a lovely extra, so relaxing after a day out or when we were chilly. It was also so peaceful, with sheep and birds to listen to. Our October half term stay was brilliant, and we didn't want to leave. The lodge was spotless, practical, high quality and in an excellent location. The host was lovely. I wish I'd had more time to chat, but we were heading out early each day. I'd absolutely recommend it. Many thanks.

Mornings on the deck with coffee and those views over the hills and forests were wonderful. There are hiking trails right by the lodge, from gentle walks to tougher routes, and we also visited Swallow Falls and the Fairy Glen, either a short drive or a scenic walk away. Betws-y-Coed was an ideal location, with quaint shops, lively restaurants and plenty of pubs. The lodge was beautifully appointed, a comfortable mix of modern and rustic, with a fully equipped kitchen and cosy contemporary living spaces. The soft linens and small touches like local artisan soaps and Welsh treats were lovely. We stayed in a peaceful spot surrounded by forest and mountain views, with the sound of nearby waterfalls. It felt like a magical escape from everyday life. From arrival, the hosts made us feel at home. They were warm and friendly, offered good suggestions for walks, attractions and places to eat, and were available when we needed them without intruding. The location within Betws-y-Coed worked perfectly. I can't recommend Hendre Rhys Gethin highly enough for a peaceful break that balances comfort, nature and adventure. It's a lovely place whether you're keen on the outdoors or just want to relax. I'll definitely return.
