I’ve stayed here several times and it’s always pleasant. I’ve eaten downstairs before as well, and the food was very good.

The Wayfarer is right on the main road, opposite the De la Warr Pavilion, so it’s handy for concerts. There’s also a bus stop across the road for Hastings or Eastbourne. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a modern, up-to-date bathroom and a lovely shower. Breakfast was a generous cooked meal, made to order, with local sausages, tasty scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

The English breakfast was fantastic, and my room was clean, beautiful, comfortable and quiet, with a lovely view. It felt like something from a fairytale. The staff were warmly welcoming, sweet, friendly and professional. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’ll definitely be back next time.
