Steve was friendly and helpful, and the place had a lovely homely feel. My room was spotless, and breakfast was delicious, with quality ingredients. It’s a great location for walking the SWCP, just a few minutes on foot from shops, restaurants and buses. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Steve and Mel were very much the highlight. It felt like being a welcome guest in their home, not staying in a hotel, and they were very accommodating. The Corner House is also well placed for the town and other local attractions. The breakfast sandwich we chose was amazing.

The dogs, Bart and Daisy, settled in really well and loved all the attention. Steve and Mel made our stay so lovely and went above and beyond. Steve even helped my husband pick up a rather large order from the butcher. Our room was lovely, with a comfy bed and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was smashing, just the right amount, and made with really lovely quality ingredients. We’d recommend this homely experience to family and friends.

Mel and Steve were friendly, great hosts and very accommodating about storing our bikes. Rooms 1 and 3 were nicely decorated, warm and comfortable. The home-cooked breakfast was wonderful and made with high quality ingredients.

Breakfast was delicious, excellent, and a 10/10. Steve and Mel were the loveliest, most welcoming hosts, and my mum and I felt so at home during our two-night stay.
