The two wait staff were sweet, and Glenn behind the bar was hilarious. He remade our drinks after another lad got them wrong. The loft room was odd and definitely not suitable for anyone tall. The food was pretty rank, just microwave meals that had been heated up. Meanwhile, the manager spent the evening stomping around and berating staff in front of customers. It was extremely unprofessional and came across as bullying. The staff seemed scared of him, which was concerning, and he was rude to us too because he was in a foul mood. He made everyone uncomfortable. I’ve never seen staff treated with such a disgusting attitude in front of customers. The manager should be ashamed. Horrid little man!

The team were friendly and welcoming, and the man who seemed to be the manager was polite and professional. He helped us with a couple of questions. My wife and I stayed while visiting family and had the loft room. It was spacious and cosy, and the beds were super comfortable.

There’s plenty of seating, the tables were clean, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a nice place for anything from a casual drink to a full meal. The food came hot, looked good and was great value, and service stayed quick even when it was busy. The staff were consistently friendly and efficient. The Crown Hotel in Biggleswade is one of the best JD Wetherspoon venues I’ve visited, and definitely deserves five stars.

Really nice breakfast and lovely staff. Two young women, Liv, a waitress, and Chloe, the woman at the bar. Now that’s what I call service with a smile 😁😁😁

The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Service was absolutely amazing, with such friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us.
