The complimentary breakfast was nice, but the room made this a very disappointing stay. The bathroom door was damaged and wouldn't shut properly, so there was no real privacy when using the toilet. That should have been checked and fixed before anyone was given the room. We visit Birmingham twice a month and usually stay at Holiday Inn. This time my family and I tried Hampton by Hilton for a change. At check-in they gave us a disabled access room. I raised it with reception and was told I'd booked a disabled room instead of a family room, so I accepted that and went back. The lack of privacy was uncomfortable and inconvenient, and the room maintenance fell below the basic comfort we expect on our regular trips. It made for an unpleasant stay. Please look into this and let me know what action will be taken. I hope you take the feedback seriously so other guests don't face the same problem.

The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and I slept well. The layout is a bit odd, though: reception is on the third floor, and the lifts don't all go to the same places. I seemed to hit a queue whenever I went to reception. Still, a pretty good experience.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was good, though it got busy, probably because it was holiday season. The staff were really helpful too. I left my hoodie behind after checking out, and they sorted things out so I could get it back, which I appreciated. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt fresh and well cared for. Had a really great stay at Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Broad Street. I'd definitely stay again.

Breakfast was fantastic, with something for everyone and loads available. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms were OK. The toilet setup is really unusual. You have to leave the bar or restaurant on the third floor and walk quite a way up to the fourth floor to use the loo. What's that about? Also, it's on Birmingham's busiest nightlife road, so pub and club music carries on past 3 in the morning.

Hanin at reception was especially kind and helpful, always welcoming me with a smile. The view was beautiful too. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the facilities are well maintained. Everything felt neat, comfortable, and welcoming. A great stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant visit.
