We were unsure at first about staying somewhere with no staff on site, but everything worked perfectly during our one-night visit for a nearby concert. The room was cosy, clean and very nicely presented. We expected noise from the garage and car cleaning service nearby, but it was actually quiet and peaceful. We were given our own unique code for the building and room, which gave us peace of mind. Staff were reachable on WhatsApp and quick to respond, with helpful answers to our questions. There's a bar downstairs, though we didn't use it. We'd definitely stay again when we're in the area and would recommend it.

It's a really central base for getting around Birmingham, and I've already decided it'll be my go-to hotel for regular trips back. The team are available on WhatsApp and very responsive and helpful if you need anything. I wasn't sure about an unmanned hotel at first, but check-in was straightforward and the whole setup worked seamlessly. My room was clean, well kept and comfortable, with plenty of amenities. It was a really pleasant stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

The room felt modern and really comfortable, and the little towel swan on the bed was a lovely touch. Whenever I needed something, the WhatsApp service got back to me quickly. I had a great stay and would book again.

I chose Hotel Holloway because I needed to be near an event, and the location worked perfectly. Although there isn't staff on site, the team handled all my questions well. It was a fantastic stay, and I'd happily come back.

Not having breakfast was the main downside. I had to walk about ten minutes into town to find somewhere open to eat. Otherwise it was a good value stay in a handy spot just off the main road into the city, and the parking worked well. The room was nice, though I could hear the fans even with the AC off. I forgot to ask whether the EV charging points were working.
