There’s a pleasant bar that stays open late, and breakfast was tasty, self service, and had a wide selection. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with complimentary tea and coffee. I found the staff friendly and very helpful. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The room was clean, the bed was fine, and I slept well. But I expected more because other Ibis hotels are usually better. The hotel doesn’t make a great first impression, though reception was clean. Most of the reception staff seemed not to care, and a sign at the bar saying there was no draft felt like another bad sign. On the first floor there was a smell of sick. Breakfast was a real letdown. I and the others there looked shocked by how poor it was: about ten kinds of meat, a couple of cheeses, a few sweet things, cereal and a toaster. If you’re offering continental breakfast, it should feel like one. I wouldn’t come back if I had another choice, but would if everywhere else was booked.

I was staying here while my husband was in hospital having open heart surgery. The room was great and always clean, and all the staff were kind and very helpful. My only small complaint is the limited menu. There was no food served on Friday, Saturday or Sunday night, so you had to order in or go out. As a woman staying alone, I didn’t feel comfortable going out by myself.

Staff were friendly, and the entrance and seating area look smart. There’s free WiFi and parking. Breakfast was good, although there were no cooked options or fresh orange juice. The rooms look nice when you first walk in, but need some attention to be great. The bed and pillows were much too hard for me. The toilet seat was broken, and the shower didn’t drain properly, so your feet end up sitting in a bath, lol.
