The rooms were roomy for the price, and the staff were very friendly. It's just off the high street in a residential area. When I mentioned a faint smell from the shower curtain, they replaced it straight away and were very kind about it. Shivi at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and explained things helpfully at check-in. Their attentiveness made for a pleasant stay.

My belongings were mishandled, I was given access to a room already occupied by another guest, and £150 worth of my things were missing afterward. The hotel has not explained where they went or how this happened. I was left without a resolution or support, four hours from home, and felt there was no accountability or concern for either me or the other guest whose privacy was affected. I was there on business. My company had mistakenly booked one night instead of two. During the day, the hotel removed all my belongings from the room and put them in storage without first trying to contact me or my workplace. I only found out when I returned at around 6:30pm. If they'd told me earlier, I could have made other arrangements. When I later asked why they hadn't contacted me, I was told they had no phone number on file and weren't required to collect one at check-in. But reception had already confirmed that my email address was on the booking, and they hadn't tried to reach me that way either. The key to my room didn't work, so I went to reception. They asked only for my room number, without checking my ID or any personal details tied to the booking. I was then given access to a room another guest had already checked into. This raises serious concerns about guest safety, privacy, and data protection. Someone else could have been let into my room just as easily. After I raised the issue, I was told the hotel was fully booked and nothing could be done. The communication, handling of my belongings, and response all fell badly short of basic customer care. This was far beyond a minor inconvenience, and I'd urge anyone considering a stay to think carefully about the risks to their privacy, possessions, and safety.

Liv went above and beyond and turned this tired mum's one night away into a blissful break. The location was so convenient, parking was great, and the staff were wonderful. Such a good experience!

We had dinner and breakfast during our one-night stay, and both meals were great. The staff were brilliant and helpful. I'd recommend the pizzas, especially the one with poppadom on top, mango drizzle and mint yoghurt. I'd never seen that combination before, but it worked really well.
