We had a fabulous week at Sutton Guest House. Ronnie was lovely and quick to respond to questions. Our room was clean and spacious, and the hot shower was just right for us. It’s great value, with off-street parking as well. Wylde Green is an easy walk up the road for supermarkets and restaurants. Thanks, Ronnie, for a great week!

A great BB needs a comfortable bed and lovely pillows, and Sutton Guest House has both. The room was spacious and clean, with good facilities and a simple self-service breakfast. It was very reasonably priced, and the owner, Ronnie, was delightful. Warmly recommended!

The owners live next door and were quick to help whenever I had a question. Driving into Birmingham takes around 20 minutes, and the free parking is off the street, well lit, and felt safe, with room for five cars. There’s a shared kitchen set up for breakfast with eggs, cereal, milk, bread, and orange juice, plus a big fridge for guests’ food. The room also has a small fridge and microwave. There’s a dining area beside the kitchen and a covered spot outside for smokers. Our room was roomy, with its own toilet and shower. It was warm and stuffy at first, but opening the window and using our own little fan sorted that out. Towels were there when we arrived, and they brought us another set when we asked. The shower curtain didn’t keep the water in, so the floor got pretty wet, and there’s no bathroom fan, which made it steamy. Still, the water was hot and the pressure was good. This isn’t a five-star place, and it doesn’t claim to be. For what it costs, though, it’s good value.
