The breakfast was fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were cleaned very well each day. It's a great place to stay for an event at the NEC. Wi-Fi was a bit patchy in some spots, but I'd definitely come back.

The bathroom had a big jacuzzi bath, but turning on the jets brought out black discharge, so they clearly hadn't been cleaned or used in a while. There were dogs roaming the hall and outside the breakfast area too. The proprietor was unwelcoming when we arrived in our van, and twice reminded us we'd interrupted her tea by arriving an hour early. Booking by phone did get us £10 off the online price, but I wouldn't stay again.

We paid premium prices and were told there'd be “only a couple of dogs,” but at least 15 were jumping at our door. We were accused of stealing, and there was no help around the B&B. Other guests were asking what to do and where to go. Breakfast was average, with little to no customer service. There was dirt in the bath, no smoking area, and no help anywhere.

The rooms were so comfortable, and it's really close to the Birmingham NEC. Lovely stay, and I'd definitely return.
