Ramada London Stansted Airport

Even after all this time, we wanted to say thank you for the hospitality. We kept meaning to write this review after our holiday in London two years ago, when we came from Turkey and stayed at the hotel. We were very pleased with the stay: the atmosphere felt comfortable and the staff were friendly. The woman at reception especially stayed in our minds, she greeted us with such kindness and a warm smile. 😊

We paid £50 for the room, which felt like a real bargain, and parking didn’t cost extra. The room was a nice surprise, clean and with comfortable beds, plus tea and coffee I hadn’t expected. The staff who checked us in were helpful and friendly, and reception is staffed around the clock. Handy for an early flight like ours. I’d recommend it and would stay again 👍🏼

The staff were really helpful trying to find us an early, cheap way to the airport, though that turned out to be a challenge. The hotel is dated and just about does the job. It’s awkwardly far from Stansted Airport, but close enough that you might still choose it. If getting nearer to the airport is the main aim, I’d pay the extra £10 for somewhere more convenient.

Someone came into our room in the middle of the night. They said the booking system was down, asked for the name on the booking, then left without explaining or apologising. At reception the next morning, the person there seemed neither bothered nor surprised. I emailed the address she gave me several times and heard nothing. Booking.com was no help either, they flat out refused to refund us. We’ve been chasing this for months with no resolution. Don’t stay here.
