We had a lovely weekend, and the location worked well for us. It was only a short trip away, with some local attractions reachable by car if you fancy a run out. The pub was really nice, with a bar area and log burner, plus a separate restaurant with a fire. The weekend deal we booked direct included bed, breakfast and evening meal at a good price. The food was excellent, really tasty and good value. Our room was cosy and roomy, with hot drink facilities and places to hang coats. The bathroom could use some TLC, though, and there was a huge cobweb across the window. Thank you 😊

If I could give less than one star, I would. My dad and I were staying in Longridge for Father’s Day weekend, and after looking into options I booked a table for two at the bluebird inn for 19.45. I made the reservation on 10.06.26 for Father’s Day, 21.06.26, and got a reminder email on 19.06.26. We drove more than 20 minutes from Longridge and arrived at 19.45. A confused waitress said she’d check, then went into the kitchen. When she came back, a manager told us they stopped serving food at 7 pm and the ovens were off. I showed her the reservation email. She said she was sorry but couldn’t do anything and couldn’t just turn the ovens back on. We’d made the trip on Father’s Day evening, and my dad missed his meal through no fault of mine. Nobody offered help or advice to resolve it. Very bad customer service.

The room was roomy and comfortable, and the place is really nicely appointed. We had a lovely dinner and friendly service during our one-night stop while visiting family. Booking direct also got us £10 off food and drink. We'd stay again and recommend it.

The restaurant was a real treat, with a big open fire, nicely presented food and fair prices. The staff made us feel very welcome. We stayed in October 2025 for a nearby wedding, and the room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The tea and coffee tray was great, and the shower was hot and powerful. Service was fantastic.
