Adam and Eve Hotel - Hostel

We refused to stay and demanded our money back. The rooms were cold and damp, the beds didn't match, there was no hot water, and urine was all over the bathroom floor. I'd rather drive three hours home at midnight than spend a night there. I wouldn't keep a dog in a room like that.

If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give. There was a bad smell, and we found a used sanitary towel stuck in the toilet tank. The shower didn't work, and the hot tap was dead, so there was only cold water. No wonder it's so cheap. Disgusting, and there was also a small damp patch on the carpet beside the bed.

The room was warm and staff were friendly, but it was cheap and cheerful, and that's about all it offered. There was no toilet roll, one room had a broken light, and a window was broken. The walls are thin enough to hear every other guest. The door locked itself from inside and a staff member had to open it with a crowbar.

The room was basic but comfortable, clean and tidy, and very close to the promenade and tower. The owners were pleasant and went out of their way for us, swapping our bunk-bed room for a double. Other guests were the only thing that spoiled our stay. Ignore the other reviews, you get what you pay for.
