The bed was comfy, and the room was spacious with everything we needed. It’s a little dated, but clean, and that matters more to me when I’m hardly spending time indoors. Blackpool has plenty of older rooms, and modern ones can cost a ridiculous amount. For a reasonably priced last-minute booking for two, there’s also a pool table and bar. The location is spot on, with a tram stop opposite, and the woman running the place was lovely. She even let us leave the car after checkout. I’ve been to Blackpool more than 15 times since I was a child, and I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

The room was good and had a sea view, but breakfast wasn’t available. Apparently they’d stopped serving it because people weren’t turning up, so there wasn’t even an option. It’s a shame, as they could have offered a continental breakfast if a full English wasn’t possible.
