The room shown was newly renovated, with a double bed and a single. It could use a little finishing touch-up, but it was a great room for what it’s used for, sleeping. We found the place on booking.com, and the staff were very friendly with great service. The family running the B & B, Lesley and Peter with dad David, were amazing and would go the extra mile. It’s family friendly and they have two lovely dogs. Breakfast was amazing, with good portions. Cereals and orange juice were self-service, and they’d also cater to your breakfast order if you’re a fussy eater. It’s a great place to stay in Blackpool, in a good spot between central and south pier, close to the main stretch of the Promenade. We’ll book again next year 👍

Dave, the owner, was absolutely lovely and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We arrived at 10am yesterday morning because we’d booked to go to the pleasure beach, and our room was ready, so we were allowed straight in. It was clean, lovely, and quite spacious for two adults and three boys. Breakfast the next morning was really nice, with plenty to fill you up for the day. We weren’t heading home straight away, so we left our luggage at the hotel and Dave kept it all safe for us. Would highly recommend the bluebell hotel, and hopefully we’ll return next year!

Breakfast was delicious, and the beach is less than a minute from the front door. It’s also handy for the Pleasure Beach, South Pier and other amenities. We found the place very clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start.

The kids had a great time, which matters most to us. We found the rooms spotless, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. It’s a well-run hotel for the price, and the breakfasts were one of my favourite parts of the visit. I’d definitely recommend it.

The kids loved every minute, and we’ll definitely be back. Dave and his son went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I was there with my partner and our two children, and we felt welcome straight away. Great location, too. Thanks again for having us 😉
