Bowie's Lodge

Tony was there straight away whenever we needed anything, and we really appreciated how kind and helpful he was with our dog. He even offered us advice for handling him better, despite our dog getting overexcited and trying to play with him. We’d booked last minute with Tony/Bowie and were running late, but he was lovely about the check-in delay and met us at the door. Our room had a beautiful sea view, hot drinks, and a dog mat and towel. One of the loveliest hotel owners I’ve met. We’d definitely come back. 💙

We’ve stayed at Bowies lodge a few times now, and it’s a lovely, clean hotel on the seafront. The Tower, other attractions and main areas are only a short walk away. Tony is a caring host who’ll go out of his way to help, and he’s usually around in the building. The coded locks on both front doors made me feel safe, which I haven’t always felt in other Blackpool hotels. The rooms are a decent size and nicely set up, with free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, shower gel, soap and shampoo. It’s decorated nicely too, with coloured lights on the stairs and outside. There’s a council car park across the road, though prices vary. It’s dog friendly, pets stay free, and our dogs haven’t left with fleas, unlike after stays at other Blackpool hotels. Thanks to Tony and Bowie for taking such pride in the place. 😁🐶

We finally found a UK place where we felt comfortable and welcome with our two dogs. We’ve spent the last two years travelling with them in the US, and this was our stop on a UK road trip. Tony was a great host, and our room looked out over the pier and beach. We even caught a fireworks display by chance on the night we stayed. We’ll be back!

The superior double had amazing views, and Tony was a really personable host. Bowie is a beautiful dog too, so have a good look at his eyes if you meet him ❤️. We’d highly recommend the place and plan to return with our doggo.
