I've stayed here before, and it's a brilliant place in a great location for a Blackpool trip. The new owners are in now, and Eric is welcoming and pleasant. I'd definitely stay again.

We ended up at cadeby lodge after booking.com messed up our reservation. I'd read some reviews beforehand saying the team were friendly, and that was true. They even moved their own car so ours could be parked off the street, and we were greeted warmly. I noticed they respected guests' privacy too: they'd knock and stand to the side so they weren't looking straight into the room. They also took care of my requests during the stay.

We only stopped for one night during switch on, after making a last-minute decision. The lady was helpful and accommodating, and got three rooms sorted for us. The rooms were basic and could do with a deep clean, though they weren't bad. We only needed somewhere to sleep, and my friends booked another night with the kids. It's about a five-minute walk to coral Island, very central, with loads for adults and kids to do. I'd stay again.

The place felt homely, and our room was big enough to sort our things and hang up coats and jackets without climbing over anything. The en-suite was small but not cramped, and the small TV was nice to have when we got back in the evening. We were given a little heater but didn't need it. We came looking for a cheap roof over our heads for a few days, and this was near the top of the list. It's a perfect five-minute walk from Blackpool tower. We checked in at 3 and were lucky to park on site for £5 a night. The bar looked unused, though it was the end of the season and quite small anyway. The kettle was a bit small, and after we'd used the supplied coffee by the second day, there wasn't any more. Nothing's perfect, but we had a great few nights. Thanks, everyone.

The owner was so kind and caring throughout, always ready to help with things like parking, tea or recommendations. The room was also very good quality for the price, with a really comfortable bed. One of the best B&Bs in the area, and I'd recommend it to anyone after a friendly, pleasant hotel. I'd come back soon!
