Ferndale Hotel

Sue sorted our overnight stay efficiently, and everything went smoothly and professionally. We arrived on the 16th, and the location is five minutes from the coach stop. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and breakfast delicious. The price was brilliant, and I appreciated the inclusive atmosphere and accessible equipment. All the staff were polite and professional. Thanks to Paul, Sue and the team for a fantastic experience. Ten out of ten, and I'd highly recommend a visit. I'm sure you'll want to go back.

I've stayed at the Ferndale five times, twice with my autistic grandchildren, and the staff have always been brilliant with the kids. The clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms and the atmosphere suit me and my partner perfectly. Breakfast is a lovely way to start the day, and Paul, Sue and the whole team are first class. I can't imagine choosing anywhere else and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The rooms were basic but very clean, with the bins checked and toiletries topped up daily. The warmth and helpfulness of the staff really made it for us, especially Liza, whose stories and welcoming manner had us laughing. We were three friends looking for somewhere central, and thanks to one of us being brilliant at arranging trains and accommodation, we found a lovely hotel with that northern hospitality. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely come again. Thank you.

Clean, though very dated. There was no hot water at 7am, and it finally came on after 8, with no staff around to tell. Breakfast was only available for one hour. It was nice apart from the sausages.
