We stayed in room 6 at no 4, with an amazing view over St Ives. The room was spotless and nicely decorated, and Mike made us a lovely vegetarian English breakfast. Sue and Mike were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. We’d love to return.
Breakfast was delicious and homemade, and our room was comfortable and perfectly clean. No4 is a charming place, and Sue and Mike were kind, caring, knowledgeable hosts who clearly love what they do. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it.
Sue and Mike gave us a lovely welcome and had loads of useful local information. They had put very reassuring safety measures in place, so we felt comfortable throughout the building. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, and both the breakfast and service were great. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
It’s an easy walk from No.4 into central St Ives, and Mike and Sue had great suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The breakfasts were awesome, and the hotel was immaculate throughout. We stayed in August 2020, during the pandemic, and they were friendly, helpful and extremely well prepared for the restrictions. The best hosts I’ve experienced.
We had room number 5 for three nights, and it was just right for the two of us. It was bright, spacious and very clean, with amazing views. The location was ideal for a short walk into town, and having parking was a huge bonus. Sue and Mike were genuinely friendly and welcoming. We stayed during Sept/Oct of the COVID-19 pandemic, and they followed all Government guidelines and made sure everyone felt safe. No. 4 was pristine, stylish and cosy, and we’d stay again.
