We finally stopped at this place after walking past it many times on our way into St Ives, and were glad we did. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, the food was really nice, and the staff were friendly. Crystal was especially easy to talk to, such a positive person, exactly the sort of person restaurants need. The bathrooms were really clean too. I recommend it.

That sticky toffee pudding was the best any of us had ever tasted, and the roast lunch was worth waiting for. The meat was beautifully cooked, with a great choice of vegetables. There was a slight delay while they waited for potatoes, so the staff brought us complimentary olives straight away. We hadn’t said anything about the wait, they’d noticed it themselves. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant has great views wherever you sit. Highly recommended.

The food, service and view were all great, and the quality felt well worth the reasonable price. The Moules were the best I’ve had, and the soup of the day was amazing too. Portions were just right, with elegant plating, definitely more than pub grub. Callum looked after us so well and even brought treats and water for our young puppy. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Would really recommend.

We loved our stay and were so glad to try this hotel. We’ve also visited Hope cove, Lyme Regis and Dartmouth, and have loved those visits too. The sea views here were stunning, and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The manager showed us to our room. The shower only gave lukewarm water, but the manager kindly moved us to another room the next morning. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and both the food and service were excellent.
