The heating wasn’t working anywhere in the building when I arrived, and the lock on room 6 was loose and barely secure. There was a damp smell as soon as I walked in, with damp patches all over the outside walls in the room around the windows. The Google listing claimed free parking, which turned out to be completely untrue, and they refused to refund what I paid for parking. Absolutely shocking “hotel”.

I won’t stay here again. Our room was right at the top of a very basic B&B, and it was much smaller than it looked in the pictures. We should have told the owner what we found, but after the hassle getting into the place, and since we were only there one night, we decided to stay. At least the bed linen was fresh and clean. The shower looked like it had just been used and not cleaned, with hair and suds in the plughole. There was black mouldy silicone around it, and the bedroom floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Dust on top of the TV and little black bits in the drawers didn’t help. Yuk 😟

Mark and Kerry always make us feel welcome, and they’re happy to help with anything. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hot breakfast is gorgeous. I love coming here for a cheeky weekend away and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. See you soon, tx.

We had a really enjoyable stay in this quiet, clean guest house. The owners were friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was great, too.
