The police were the ones who let us wash and get dressed before they put us out. This couple barely gave us a chance to do either before calling them. The shower only dripped, and when I complained, they showed no respect. There was also constant noise from the next room, with the TV on all night. The couple said there was nothing they could do, and were aggressive with both me and my young son. One of them aggressively told him to shut up while he was crying. We felt upset and singled out, and they came across as narcissists. Booking.com deleted my review, and I can’t find the hotel on there now, so I’m posting it here. I think most of their reviews are fake. They seemed more concerned with getting a good review than considering other guests. Don’t stay here if you value quiet or need a decent shower.

We had another brilliant stay. The place is clean and tidy, and handy for getting around. Roseanne and Roy are fantastic, and the breakfast is brilliant too. Already looking forward to staying again next year.

The room was clean and had everything I needed. I slept better than I have in about two weeks. The welcome was really friendly, and I’d happily stay here again or recommend it.

Roy, the owner, was so nice and helpful, and the location made it easy to get everywhere. It’s an older place, but has plenty of charm and chintz. We’d be glad to come back sometime. We couldn’t comment on the breakfast or bar because Covid rules meant neither was available. For the price, though, I don’t think you’d find better.

The hosts were lovely to chat with and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and the bed was really comfortable. It’s a gorgeous place, and I’d absolutely recommend it. Missing it already.
