Heather Lea Guest Rooms was just the quiet place I wanted for a trip to Blackpool when things were quiet. I arrived at 3pm and phoned the owner, who gave me a key code so I could collect my key for Room 3. Coming in, the place had a lovely, warm, cosy feel. Then I saw my room, wow. Boutique-style decor and furnishings, a lovely room and a great big double bed that was so comfortable I slept brilliantly and didn’t want to get up. There’s tea and coffee, a flat-screen TV with great sound, and an en suite shower room with a fantastic electric shower. Hot, hot, hot, just right after a day out in the cold. It was very warm and cosy, and you can set the room temperature to suit yourself. It really felt like a holiday, and relaxing was what I needed. Rooms are serviced daily, but it’s still a quiet place, a real gem. No kids allowed, which was great, and no stag or hen parties either. There are quiet hours. All in all, I’m very pleased with Heather lea. It’s up there with the best places I’ve stayed in Blackpool, and I’ll be back.

The café and shop nearby were handy, and there’s a tram stop close by too. North Pier is a bit of a walk, though it’s a healthy one. I had a lovely stay, with a cosy, quiet bedroom.

We’d happily come back next time we’re in Blackpool. The room was clean and really comfortable, and it was excellent value with everything we needed. Definitely recommend staying here.

Tina was welcoming and friendly the whole time, from when we arrived until we left. She doesn’t serve a cooked breakfast now, but provides a breakfast bag instead. It was clean, affordable, and helpful, and my son and I hope to stay again later this year for the illuminations.

Tina, thanks for a great visit! The service was really good, and the rooms looked lovely, with pretty decorations, a TV, and clean bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the ventilation was good too. Definitely recommend, 10/10 ❤️
