Hotel Babylon

The room was uncomfortable, too hot, and the window wouldn't open. Everything felt worn out and tired, and it smelled damp and greasy. The rooms were dirty and awful. The reviews clearly aren't real. This B&B isn't five star, or even two star in my view. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

The location is great for the Tower and Winter Gardens, with a car park right across the road. It's just off the seafront, and both North and South pier are close by along the way. My single room had all the facilities and a super hot shower. Everyone was welcoming, the service was good, and breakfast was excellent. Great value. I highly recommend it and would stay again.

The freshly prepared halal breakfast choices were amazing and reasonably priced. The hotel itself was very clean, and our room had what we needed for a short visit. It was a bit small, but Zain gave us a discount for that, and I'm sure he has larger rooms. He's flexible about checkout times if you tell him in advance, unlike the many hotels that want you out at 10 or 11 am. The location is great, near the beach, with shops and scenery along the way to attractions like the Sandcastle Water Park or the Food Market. Some managers were angry with us because we hadn't booked ahead. We'd never been to Blackpool before and were still learning, but Zain listened, understood what we needed and helped make the trip as fun as possible. He's one of the best hotel managers to deal with in Blackpool, if not the best. I'd always check availability with this friend like manager before booking elsewhere in Blackpool.

They kindly arranged car parking for my whole stay, even though it wasn't included in the price. The service was fantastic, and the breakfast the next morning was fabulous. My room was spacious and well located. It's a typical Blackpool hotel from the outside, but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool.
