Kirubash Central Pier Hotel

The best part was getting outside and breathing fresh air. My girlfriend and I have vowed never to stay in Blackpool again after this visit. The room was on the top floor, and there were more than 20 flies and a spider in the sink. The bathroom was basically nonexistent, its light broke as soon as we switched it on, and the door handle was missing two screws, with one of the two remaining screws loose. The main room door looked a bit kicked in, the window was broken, and screws were exposed in the wall. The towels and sheets were dirty, and there was a terrible smell by the building's main door. There were a couple of positives: we could see the tower from bed, and the bed, despite being slightly stained, was fairly comfortable, as were the pillows. The bed itself wasn't bad, but everything else was shocking. Also, what sort of hotel makes you collect your keys from another hotel?

The first time I stayed here it was OK, but when I came back four months later it was filthy. There was no toilet roll in the room, the sheets had stains of who knows what, and the window wouldn't shut. There were marks up the wall, a mouldy shower, and a foul smell at the entrance. One of the rooms also had another smell, like rotten fish.

I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The hotel was dirty and smelled as soon as you walked in. The TV didn't work; we called the receptionist several times and were told someone would come fix it, but nobody showed up. The beds felt like nothing but springs, and there were makeup and coffee marks all over the walls. Absolute filth!

It was just what we needed, somewhere to sleep, and it was clean and tidy. The bathroom was on the small side, but it was OK.
