New Discovery

The man who greeted us was so friendly and great with my kids, even the one who wanted extra pillows. It's just a room, but it comes with towels, soap and toilet roll, and it suited our family of two adults and three kids. It isn't 5-star, but we felt safe and were close to the beach. Can't complain, we'll go again!

The welcome was so warm it felt like staying at a family member's place. The only thing I can complain about is that there were too many milk sachets, so we shared them with the seagull on our window ledge. Great guy. The creaky floors, falling-apart ceiling, broken bed, dirty sheets, no heating and cold temperatures made me feel right at home. Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in! Much love, the blue noses. I'd 100% stay again.

The bed was disgusting and had a hole in it. The shower was full of damp, my husband had bites from the mattress, and the kettle was rotten. The cloth wardrobe was full of paint, the toilet was broken, and the fire alarm was hanging off a piece of wood. The window was full of damp too. What more can I say? Nothing like the bedrooms I'd seen on booking dot com.

The room was basic, but it had everything we needed to rest up for the next day. We picked the hotel for its price and position between the South and Central Piers, with the Tower about a 10-minute walk away. Peter was so welcoming and showed us where the extra towels, tea and coffee were. He also let us check in an hour early, offered us a larger room for a future trip with the kids, and suggested nearby places to eat and a local shop open until midnight. We even got a free late checkout. He couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll be back. Thanks, Peter. Toni & Corey
