Olivers

Steve and Chris, along with Trevor the dog, were excellent hosts during our stay from Saturday morning to Tuesday morning. They were there to check us in and always around if we needed anything. They were friendly and helpful, checked that all was well at breakfast, asked what we’d been doing and what we planned for the day, and acknowledged us as we came and went. They were also there when we left, which we appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked each morning when we arrived in the dining room. Our room was a good size for the two of us, with an excellent, comfortable bed. Olivers is welcoming and homely, and suited to couples over 35 looking for a quiet break, as children aren’t allowed. We had an excellent time and have booked a few days in August. I can honestly recommend it to friends.

Steve and Chris made us feel at home from the start. The food was good, and each morning we were greeted with a cheerful smile. Sammy was a ray of sunshine every morning too. What a great place to stay. I’d recommend Oliver's to anyone looking for a break without kids running around.

Olivers is a lovely, well cared for hotel. Chris and Steve were brilliant, very friendly and made us feel welcome from beginning to end. Anything we needed, all we had to do was ask. We stayed for three nights and had an amazing breakfast during our two day stay. We loved it and will be back very soon. See you soon, Chris, Steve and Trevor, the lovely, well behaved dog. The Oliver’s was really good, with a fantastic full breakfast, bottomless coffee and toast. The rooms were very quiet, though a bit cold for the time of year I was there. Apart from that, I’ll return to this hotel.
