Room 7 had a lovely sea view, and I enjoyed sitting and watching the waves. My partner and I stayed over Valentine’s, and the room was spotless and smelled fresh. A young girl greeted us with lovely manners, and the caretaker and his partner were polite too. The electricity payment setup puzzled me, but it only took a couple of quid, and the place was worth it. We drove, but it was easy to get to the tram route. Check-in was simple, and we left the keys as instructed. No complaints from me, and we’ll definitely return. Thanks for a great few days, peace out, skinhead!

We had a comfortable three-night stay, and the landlady was friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and had what we needed, with lovely fresh bedding. It was easy to find the electric meter, and we only had to put a couple of pounds in. The rain was a shame, but Blackpool had plenty to do, including the Sea Life Centre, Pleasure Beach, the circus inside the tower, and a fantastic zoo. Good value, and I’d book one of the Rutland Gate places again. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

My stay in Blackpool was awful. The place was dirty, and management was rude. I smelled gas and raised it, but the manager wouldn’t acknowledge the smell. My mum had to call British Gas while we were on holiday to check the leak. They confirmed there was one. We were then sworn at and told it was none of our business, and that we shouldn’t have called anyone and should have left the leak alone. We left early, and I’m very upset that my safety was put at risk. Please stay safe when you travel. :(

The owner was really helpful, friendly, and lovely. We stayed three nights; the rooms were tidy and clean, with everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable and clean. I’ll definitely come back.

I spent my birthday weekend here and had a wonderful time. I was in room 7, where the bathroom door wouldn’t close, but everything else was fabulous. I’d highly recommend it for a Blackpool stay or if you’re looking for a house.
