The room looked out over the sea, and the mattress was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. It also had a good-sized en-suite with a walk-in shower. Onyx house is spacious and well equipped, with two bar areas, including a magnificent champagne bar at the top with fabulous views, especially when the weather’s fine. There’s plenty of parking, and the tram and bus stops are just minutes away for getting around. We had a great time. Diana, the lovely house manager, met us and showed us around. Thank you.

The owners have made this a beautiful house, with thoughtful touches like lovely hand soap and essentials throughout. We had an amazing weekend and are checking out this morning. Please take care of the place, because we’ll be back soon! Thanks for giving us such a lovely base for the weekend. Xxx

The communal rooms are brilliant for long evenings and good conversations, and the bedrooms are really large and furnished to a very high standard. Onyx has amazing views and a great location for exploring the local area. Honestly, you might not want to leave the house. I can’t recommend it enough.

The photos don’t show how impressive this house is. We’ve just come back from a weekend with friends and children, and were blown away by the size. The main living room and bar were incredible for entertaining, while the champagne lounge upstairs had fantastic views. Everything was immaculate, with lots of extras and nice finishing touches. It has everything you could need, plus a great location with the tram stop right outside. Huge thanks to the team and cleaners. We can’t wait for a reason to return. ❤️

The beds were so comfortable, and the bathrooms were great, with bathrobes and towels in the rooms. The top lounge was especially relaxing, and the whole weekend felt peaceful. There were sweet little touches too, like a bag of sweets, a rock in every room, postcards, and a rock by the door. We stayed over the August bank holiday and had an absolutely amazing time. Thanks so much.
