The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. The hosts were courteous and easy to approach, and the location made it easy to walk to the attractions. The property itself felt dated and wasn’t well maintained. I stayed from 15th Aug - 17th Aug for a Pleasure beach trip for my daughter’s birthday, arriving after 9pm. The street and the very narrow car park entrance were poorly lit. I accidentally parked in the hotel next door’s car park for a few minutes before realizing my mistake. At Wave crest, I paid £20 cash and entered my details on a digital device for parking during my stay. A few months later, I received two parking fines, one for Wave crest and another for the neighboring hotel. I contacted the Wave crest owner, who offered to reach out to the fine issuer and asked me to email the details. I still haven’t heard an update from the owner, and the fine letters keep arriving.

The breakfast was good value and cooked the way we liked it. Our room was clean and tidy, with coffee facilities, a kettle and an iron. The co-owners greeted us at the front door when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel was clean and spacious, and the family who run it were friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. It’s just off the seafront, close to the attractions and easy to get around from. Breakfast was nice and good value. I’d stay again and recommend it.

The rooms were so clean, and the beds were comfy and smelled fresh. I went with my son, and the lovely couple running the place really looked after him, even giving him a free lollipop and a drink. For the prices they charge, it’s a lucky find. The beach is a minute away, and Sandcastle and Pleasure Beach are close too. You have to try his breakfast, it was amazing.

I’ve stayed here a few times and always have a lovely time. The couple are welcoming and helpful, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean. It’s in a great location, and I’ve never had a problem here. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you ☺️
