Premier Inn Blackpool East - M55 J4

We’ve ended up here twice by accident, and both times the heat at night made it hard for the whole family to sleep. Even with the windows open and a fan on, it took about 2 hours to fall asleep, and we kept waking up. The dining area is small and feels cramped and rushed. The rooms were clean and the food was OK, but I’d advise staying somewhere else. It’s not worth it if you can’t sleep.

The hotel was fine, with a clean room like you’d expect from a Premier Inn, a nice pub attached and friendly, helpful staff. We had breakfast each morning, with hot and cold options, though the choice wasn’t as good as at other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. It’s convenient for the M55, and Blackpool centre is only 10 minutes away by car. But there’s nowhere to go in the local area, so you need to drive.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were always ready to help. It’s a standard Premier Inn, with a pub on site. My room near the stairs could be noisy, though once everyone had passed, it didn’t disturb me overall. The hotel is on the edge of an industrial estate, quite a way from shops and other amenities. A Tesco extra is about a 30 Minuit walk, but that’s about it. It’s fine for a stopover, but not so good for a visit when there’s nothing nearby.

The staff were very friendly, but the rooms have no aircon and get uncomfortably hot.
