The room was a good size for all five of us, and breakfast was tasty, with options from cereal to a full English. We were greeted by a very friendly couple who made us feel welcome. They were happy to answer questions about the area and help with directions. Great value for money, and we'd definitely stay again.

Just had another lovely weekend at the Wakefield. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were friendly. Pubs, shops, and the Tower are only a two minute walk away. We've booked to return in October. Sue and Gill, York.

I'm on the fence about this one, and probably wouldn't go back. The room was small, as expected, but the mattress was too small for its base. My partner and I kept banging our shins against the base and came home with several small bruises. Breakfast wasn't bad, though it would've been better to have a choice of eggs instead of only fried. Another downside was that a dog lives at the property, and my partner saw it in the dining area.

I'm visiting from Australia and really enjoyed my stay at Wakefield House Hotel. Craig and Kayleigh were excellent hosts and know Blackpool very well. They made a perfect breakfast, and the rooms and ensuites were spotless. Great price for my stay.

My family and I have just come back from four days at Wakefield House. We had a comfortable, lovely stay, and Craig and Kayleigh were brilliant with me and the kids. They couldn't have done more for us. Breakfast was great too, and we'll definitely return next year.
