I was in the area for a training course in January, during the off-season, and this hotel was a great find. It's a quiet, well-kept boutique place near Blackpool South train station, with comfortable rooms and good value. A warm, personable couple run it. There are no meals included, but lots of local cafés and bars nearby, and they had sandwiches waiting for me when I arrived, a thoughtful touch. The tasteful rock memorabilia around the place is a nice detail, and the owner has a band of his own.

Helen and Stuart are lovely, friendly owners who made us feel right at home, and we’ll definitely be back. Our family room had plenty of space for us and our two teenagers, and the whole hotel was spotless. We appreciated the tissues, earplugs (though it was quiet enough not to need them), and the usual tea and coffee, plus shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The downstairs bar has a huge range of drinks, a pool table and a retro games machine for the kids.

We’ve just got back from a week at the Rayners hotel, and we’d definitely return. Helen and Stuart are lovely and went out of their way to help with whatever they could. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and spotless, as is the whole hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, with a brilliant choice, and the seafront is only a one minute walk away. Great for families or couples, with a bar downstairs and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

The hotel is perfectly placed between south and central pier, just a minute from the beach, and the hosts know the area well. Stuart and Debbie (A.K.A Helen) were some of the friendliest hosts I’ve met. They made us feel at home and really went the extra mile for everyone. The rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced, and I slept well. Breakfast was filling and amazing. Thanks so much, Stuart and Helen, for a fabulous stay. I can’t wait to come again 😃

We came to Blackpool as a family of 11 for my son's 21st and my mother-in-law's 80th birthdays. Helen and Stuart welcomed us warmly and were incredibly helpful to all of us. The rooms were a good size and very clean, with fresh towels every day. Breakfast was excellent: everyone was asked what they wanted and got exactly that, and nobody in the family could fault it. We’d all happily stay again and again, and I highly recommend the hotel. Many thanks to Helen and Stuart for their hospitality. It was a real pleasure staying there. Sarah, Geoff and family x
