Shepperton Hotel

Geoff gave us a lovely welcome, and we were lucky to get a garage space. The room had all we needed, including an iron and ironing board, plenty of storage for two adults and a child, and tea and coffee supplies. Just ask and they’ll bring more tea, coffee or milk. The bathroom had been refurbished; the shower wasn’t the fastest, but there was lots of hot water, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was self-serve, with a good cooked meal usually made by Tim, plus cereals, toast, jam, marmalade, tea and coffee. There was apple and orange juice, and yoghurt on some mornings. We’d stay again.

The hotel was clean, with fresh towels, parking and a fantastic breakfast to get the day started. The mattresses did feel ready for an upgrade, and the place was a little tired, though. We stayed for a weekend with family, and the location was great for the attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was nice and quiet, with clean rooms and everything we needed, plus a good breakfast. We had no complaints. Trams run about every 10 minutes along the "Golden Mile", and you can catch one just at the end of the street.

The owner really looked after us and made the place feel homely. He seemed like a genuinely lovely man. I had my own double room while my son, daughter in law and granddaughter had another room. The bed was comfortable, though a bit too soft for my back. Everything else was great.
