Silversands Hotel

Our own hotel turned out to be a doss hole, with sheets that didn’t seem clean or changed, and the place looking like it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned. Huge thanks to the silver sands hotel for finding us a lovely family room at short notice. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the room was lovely and super clean. The food was fantastic 👍👍

My Mum and dad have just come back from five days here and had such a good time that they’ve already booked again for August this year. Angela the owner, Lauren the manager and all the staff gave them 10/10 service and went above and beyond. Their room was spacious and newly decorated, and the food was spot on each day, with a good English breakfast in the morning and plenty of evening meal choices. They also really enjoyed the nightly entertainment, especially with a bit of bingo in between! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve just returned from three nights. The rooms were clean, the meals were wholesome, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Service was excellent for the most part. My only gripe was the toaster at breakfast, but we still had a very enjoyable long weekend. Thanks to the management and everyone working there.

I paid the same for my single room as two friends paid for double beds, and I really disliked the rubber sheet. The room was tiny and in poor decorative shape, with curtains hanging off the window. It also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so I opened the windows. The smell made me feel quite ill, especially as I’m battling stage 4 breast cancer. I didn’t want to cause any trouble. As far as we could tell, the hotel was full and there was no room for our driver. The food was nice, the white linen was beautiful, the staff were very helpful, and I enjoyed the entertainment. But after two nights here, I wouldn’t stay again.
