We had to leave after just one night, even though we’d booked and paid for two. With several children in the family, we couldn’t keep them there safely. One child was shivering and unable to sleep because cold air kept coming through a large gap in the window. The heating was on a restricted timer and stopped working overnight, so the room got dangerously cold. I reported it to the woman at reception, but she said nothing could be done and there were no other rooms. No help or solution was offered, despite her knowing children were at risk. There was nobody at reception overnight to ask for further help. The contact number on Booking.com didn’t work, and several messages through the app went unanswered. This was unacceptable accommodation and a serious health and safety concern. We left to protect our children’s health and wellbeing. I’d strongly advise families, especially those with children, to avoid this property. I’ll escalate the matter further with the booking platform.

We were a group staying two nights for the darts event. The staff were friendly, the room was clean to a good standard, and the beds were comfortable. They provided two clean towels and tea and coffee making facilities, and the shower had hot water the whole time. I’d stay here again.

The beach front location was good and the price fair. Beds were comfortable, though the rooms looked a bit dated. We had to go back down to ask for towels and toilet paper, which hadn’t been provided. There was tea and coffee but no milk, and the cups were dirty. I probably wouldn’t return, as I’m sure there are better places at a similar price.

The staff were friendly, and there’s a bar with drinks and a pool table. The rooms are a little dated. It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

Stay away from this hotel. There was no hot water, and the beds seemed like a tropical zoo, with bed bugs. The walls felt like plastic, so you could hear people anywhere in the hotel whenever they made a noise. Damp and mould covered the walls under wallpaper, making it hard to notice. I’ve now got a chest infection and have been ill in bed all week after staying here over the weekend.
