The Albert Hotel Near Winter Gardens

Even though we booked at the last minute, the hosts made us feel very welcome. They even knocked after our first night to ask if we needed more tea or coffee. The rooms are huge, well kept, clean and tidy. There’s also a basement bar with live music, a smoking area outside the downstairs bar, and lots of comfortable seats outside the front door. We’d recommend booking this hotel a thousand percent.

Quaint, clean hotel with attentive service and a great breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and it’s definitely on my list for a return visit.

Jennie and George are brilliant hosts, and the breakfast is amazing. This traditional seaside B&B feels like home to us. The beach, Coral Island and the tower are about 5-10 minutes away. We last stayed in October last year, but sadly our holiday dates weren’t available this year. Hopefully we’ll see you both next year.

Our en suite room was on the small side, but perfectly adequate, with a nice bathroom, very clean room and extremely comfortable bed. The internet was fast, and breakfast had a good choice and was nicely presented and served. The micro pub does excellent cask ales at reasonable prices. It’s under a 10-minute walk to Coral Island and Blackpool Tower, with the Winter Gardens just a stone’s throw away. Very reasonably priced, and we’d highly recommend it. We’ll definitely stay again.
