The Balmoral Hotel

Our sea-view room made the weekend break extra special. It was clean and modern, and the Balmoral Hotel is ideally placed right on the front, near the Tower and Pleasure Beach. The staff made a real effort to welcome us and see that we had everything we needed. Keith was a perfect breakfast host and was happy to help with anything.

I stayed Monday to Friday on a bed and breakfast basis, and it was a memorable trip. The breakfast service was impeccable, the room was brilliant, and everyone from check-in to check-out was exemplary and happy to help. The hotel has recently been refurbished inside and out, and they’ve done a fantastic job. It wasn’t full, so the evening entertainment was next door at the Craig Y Don, which I believe is a sister hotel. The staff there were fantastic too. A huge round of applause to the teams at both hotels, and thank you all.

The manager Dave and the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the hotel had a relaxed feel. It’s a budget place, well suited to a short stay in Blackpool. There’s good food, evening entertainment, new carpets and furniture, and the hotel was clean. It has had a full upgrade and new management. We booked two doubles and a single for our family, and we all enjoyed staying here. The location on the promenade is great, close to the attractions.

Keith and Dylan were fantastic, and every member of staff we met was so helpful. The rooms and dining space feel roomy and comfortable after the brilliant refurbishment. We first stayed last August and have just come back for another Monday to Friday break. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely be back. Keep up the good work, we’d happily recommend the Balmoral Hotel.
