We had two young children with us, and the situation at Almar Hotel Apartments Blackpool felt unsafe and completely unsuitable for a family. When we came back to the apartment, the staff member on duty was drinking alcohol, smoking something that looked like marijuana, and blasting very loud music. The kids were getting ready for bed. We packed up and left soon after arriving, then had to travel home late at night. It wrecked the weekend we’d planned and was a really stressful, disappointing experience. This wasn’t what we expected when we booked. I hope management takes it seriously so another family doesn’t go through the same thing.

The location is within two minutes of Coral Island and five minutes from the Tower. There’s a good choice of tea, coffee and cereal, and you get what you paid for, maybe a bit more. Just watch out for the parking charges.

I called several times through the day, starting around 11am, but got no check-in information. I was left outside with no room and no way to get into the building. With two children under two, I had to book somewhere else.

The service was amazing, and the owner was really friendly. The hotel has been refurbished, so it looks clean and lovely, and the rooms are nice too. It’s close to everything in Blackpool. Best place we’ve stayed there, and I’d recommend it 100% :)

We were really unhappy with how dirty this place was, especially the disgusting floor. The picture must have been taken years ago because it doesn’t look like that now. We even had trouble finding the place.
