Honley Hotel

The location was amazing, but the hotel was filthy and smelled awful. I'm not sure the bed had even been changed. The staff member who was supposed to be getting rooms ready was often in the living quarters. She said they'd been robbed, and some rooms had no kettle, cups, tea or coffee. One room had just a whole bag of sugar. We had to clean the toilet before using it, and there were no towels. It was a cheap hotel, but that doesn't make being filthy okay. I definitely wouldn't return.

We booked seven rooms and couldn't really complain for the money. The location was great, it was fairly clean, and the showers were hot and clean. Towels and tea and coffee were in all our rooms, and when we asked for milk, it arrived straight away. I'd stay again.

Good location, but the basics were missing. There was no toilet paper, tea, cups, or sugar. The only toilet on the whole corridor didn't lock, and the bedroom door had no lock either. The bed was broken, and staff didn't answer the phone.

We left another place because we were so disappointed with it, and Steve welcomed us here and made sure we had everything we needed. He was really helpful, and we would have stayed longer if we could. The room was very clean, with lovely big windows overlooking the sea. It was surprisingly quiet given where it is, and the bed was comfortable. A bigger towel would have been nice. We'll definitely come back. Good luck with everything, lovely guy 👦
