The lounge was a real highlight, with lots of charming old knick-knacks and everything kept spotlessly clean. The outside of the property was well maintained too, so it made a great first impression. Our room was good and the bed very comfortable, and the staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. There were a few letdowns. The morning after our first night, we spotted blood stains on the bedding. The taps had “Caution: Hot Water” signs, but the water never got hot. The sink was blocked as well, and the shower dispensers were empty, with no shampoo or body wash. The hotel itself was otherwise very clean and clearly cared for. We enjoyed our stay overall and would return.

We couldn’t find any street parking, but there are car parks nearby. We paid £13 for the full day and left the car there while we went into Blackpool after checkout. I’d asked for a twin room and didn’t get one, though it wasn’t a big deal because the bed was very large. At checkout there was nobody around, which felt a little strange since we’d only seen someone when we arrived. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly. The hotel was spotless, the decor was lovely, and the bed was comfortable, so we slept well. It was a great stay and we’d happily come back. Highly recommended.

We slept better than we had all week. The room was really nice and the bed very comfortable. It’s fairly central, with a bit of a walk to the seafront and some great places nearby to get food.
