I stayed in the 60's themed room while visiting family in Blackpool. It had a double bed with a built-in TV, plus a separate sitting area with a couch and a record player with vinyl records. Everything was spotless, and there were nice extras like a cosy dressing gown and slippers in the wardrobe. Breakfast was lovely, with the best poached eggs I've had in a good while. The Mercury is in a great spot just off the main promenade. Gary was friendly and very accommodating, though I didn't meet Jo. I'd definitely stay again.

We were spoiled for choice at the complimentary breakfast and had a mix of hot and cold food both mornings. The rooms were spotless, the beds and pillows comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. We even had our own record player with albums to suit different tastes. We loved our long weekend at the Mercury Hotel. Hosts Gary and Jo were friendly and had plenty of suggestions for things to see and do while visiting Blackpool. It was a great weekend, and we'll definitely return.

Gary's breakfast was better than anything we ate around town, and when it was time to go he insisted on taking us to the train station. The room was super clean, with British rock and punk memorabilia all over the decor. We came to Blackpool for New York for rebellion fest and Gary greeted us at the door, so we felt welcome straight away. Gary and Jo are one of a kind hosts. If and when we go back, we'll definitely stay there again!

Jo welcomed us warmly, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was hot and delicious, and her faithful sidekick George, a Rhodesian ridgeback, kept us company and was playful. The Mercury lived up to its regal connections, with photos and memorabilia throughout. In Freddie's “prescence” there was even a record player and Queen vinyl to play and listen to. We can't recommend it enough and are already planning another visit. Thanks Jo for a great experience. Keep on rocking! We visited overnight for a theatre trip, and as a big Queen fan, the Freddie suite was a must. Gary was away on business, but texted to let us know he'd be absent and the room would be ready by lunchtime, which I thought was very professional. Jon and Elaine (Chester).

The rooms are amazing, the beds so comfy, and breakfast was stunning with generous portions. Everything was spotless and fresh. Jo and Gary are amazing and go above and beyond for you. This is a beautiful, quirky B&B. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and we'll be back next year to make it an annual thing, ha.
