The Old Bank Apartments

We spent five days at The Old Bank Apartments and had a great time. The open-plan kitchen and sitting room gave us a nice place to relax together, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. There were two huge bedrooms, with two double beds in the main one and three doubles in the other. There were only four of us, so we had plenty of room, almost like living in a “Big Brother” house. The fully equipped kitchen let us make our own breakfasts, which added to the home-away-from-home feel. It had everything we needed for a restful break after exploring the area, and we'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, cosy place.

The nightclub noise from both sides was the only real drawback. Earplugs were provided, but even with them we struggled to hear the TV. I think families with young children could find it especially difficult, so it's worth knowing before booking, though the noise is outside the owners' control. Otherwise, it's a lovely, clean, well-appointed apartment in a great central spot, with plenty of nearby car parks, comfortable beds, two fabulous shower rooms and an easy check-in.

We stayed in the Allure apartment as a family of five, bringing our grandson and his mum to see the illuminations for the first time. It was lovely and warm, with everything we needed, and the owners were friendly and helpful throughout. Despite the nightclub next door, we had no noise or disruption, so don't let that put you off. The apartment is right in the centre of everything. My husband and I would love to come again, but it's too far for our son and his family to make the trip again, and the apartment is too big for just the two of us. Book it and enjoy.

Everyone commented on how lovely the apartments looked and how comfortable the beds were. The finishing touches made my hen weekend feel special, and Charli was great to communicate with and made sure things were just right. The Old Bank Apartments were in an ideal spot for our night out, with parking close by. My hens and I had an amazing stay. Thanks again, Charli!
